presents a personalized sampler to each family making their
home dedication ceremony extra special! Please feel free to
attend any of the dedication ceremonies. If you would like more

Return the completed sampler with these instructions and the
remaining floss to the HEG Outreach Chairperson. She will have
the sampler framed. Thank you for your time!
Habitat for Humanity Sampler Instructions
Materials
DMC cotton floss: see chart below
14-count white Aida cloth: 12” X 12”
Design count: 78 X 94
Design size: 5 ¾” X 7”
The design is worked with cross stitch over one using 2 strands
of floss. The words are stitched in backstitch with 2 strands of
floss. Be sure to center the design on the fabric. Be sure to
stitch the correct Year!
Suggested needle is #24 or #25 tapestry needle. If you use an
embroidery hoop, be sure to use a wrapped hoop so that a mark
is not left on the fabric. Chart the family name and “Family”
before you begin stitching that line so that you can center the
stitching.
