In the Fall of 2007, The Houston Embroiderers' Guild received information from the Pentagon informing us that the
CIA had discovered many of our members had not one, but many UFO's hiding in closets and drawers throughout
their homes. It was felt that this was detrimental to national security (these things just might explode out of the
closets at any time). Therefore, we were given strict orders to get some of these projects completed.
In order to accomplish this task, a UFO Boot Camp was established. Members were required to bring uncompleted
projects and work on them for long hours each day. Our first day, a soup line was established so that everyone
would have proper nutrition to complete the tasks at hand. Meritorious awards were given for attendance and for
the completion of EGA seminar, workshop, program or long-term projects.
