Welcome to the website for The Houston Embroiderers' Guild. We are a
chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America. Our goal is to foster
friendship and camaraderie through needlework. Members all do some
type of needlework using a threaded needle. For more information

President’s Thoughts
March, march, march. That’s exactly what we were doing at Boot Camp! Marching
to the needlework muse and spending a week stitching and finishing our projects.
Boot Camp was also a great way to kick off our new HEG Incentive program.
Everyone who attended Boot Camp for all 5 days received a sterling charm
bracelet or charm holder pin. If you missed a day or could not attend, not to worry!
Members can buy a bracelet or pin at wholesale cost. Everyone who attended
Boot Camp for any length of time received a special charm. For the rest
of the year, there are ways to receive more charms by finishing Seminar pieces,
GCC’s, Long Terms and bringing them to Stitch and Show. As this program
evolves, there will be even more ways to earn charms. We think this
will be a fun way to share and finish our needlework and bring some excitement
